Grant Program

Grant Qualifications

In order to qualify for a grant from The Shelter, Inc., you must:

a. Be a New Jersey animal shelter or rescue located in Monmouth or Ocean county.

b. Qualify under U.S. Statute 501(C)-3 as a not-for-profit.

c. Submit a fully completed grant application form and all requested documentation by the published deadline.

The 2026 Grant Application process has begun. The deadline for submission is October 31, 2026.
